Most retractable awnings require at least 7 feet, 6 inches of wall height, with at least 8 inches of clear space horizontally. Widths range from 8 to 20 feet for most models, though custom sizes are available up to 46 feet, exclusively through SunSet Awnings Pros. Motorized units allow you to select which side the power cord is on. Mounting options include standard wall, soffit or optional roof/rafter brackets.
